NPN POKER AGENTS

What is an NPN Poker Agent?

An NPN Poker Agent acts as a connector between poker players and our ClubGG clubs. Agents usually have access to a community of poker players through various means — whether that’s a social media presence, a poker blog, a YouTube channel, hosting private poker games, or being a regular at a local poker room.

Agents also have a relationship with a club owner. The agent will bring players to a club and he and the owner will share responsibility for those players. The agent and club owner must trust each other to settle promptly for the agent’s players’ chips. The relationship between agents and club owners is built on mutual trust and transparency.

Do You Need an Agent to Play in NPN Poker Clubs?

No, all of our clubs work directly with players. If you discovered NPN Poker through our website or socials, you’re welcome to join a club directly without needing an agent. However, if you’re coming in through an agent, they will assist in onboarding you into the club and managing your chips as needed.

Can Anyone Become an NPN Poker Agent?

That depends on the club you want to work with. Some clubs within the NPN Poker network prefer agents with a minimum number of players and may ask agents to handle all chip transactions for their players.

On the other hand, some clubs offer a more flexible referral model: they handle all chip transfers, while the agent simply focuses on bringing in players. This setup works more like an affiliate or referral system than a traditional agent arrangement.

How Do You Become an Agent with NPN Poker?

To become an NPN Poker Agent, you’ll need at least three active players (in addition to yourself) to qualify. You will also be required to handle all chip transactions for your players and deal with us for getting chips in bulk to avoid many transactions between us and yourself throughout the week.

If you have just a friend or two who would like to join NPN Poker, we have a separate referral program for smaller player groups that doesn’t require formal agent status.

For details on joining our agent program or to refer players, please contact us. We’re also happy to talk to experienced agents who are looking for fresh clubs and networks to work with.

Why Don’t Agents Have Their Own Clubs?

There are a few reasons:
• Player Count: Building and running a successful club usually requires at least 100 active players. Agents with fewer players often find it more practical to partner with established clubs instead of starting from scratch.
• Union Access: Larger poker unions have limited slots for clubs and typically reserve those slots for clubs that meet certain size and activity levels. Many players enjoy the action and benefits of being in a large, active union, so agents often prefer to partner with clubs that already belong to these larger networks.

Why Do Club Owners Work with Agents?

Club owners often bring in players directly through their own marketing. However, to grow further and reach new player communities, clubs frequently rely on agents.

Some clubs in the NPN Poker network are particularly well-connected within unions and rely almost entirely on agents to bring in players. In these cases, the club owner’s role is primarily administrative: they oversee the agents and manage the club’s operations, leaving the day-to-day player interactions to the agents.
